JUVÉDERMOur dentists offer dermal fillers in the popular JUVÉDERM® line of products. The JUVÉDERM® line includes several different types of injectable fillers, all uniquely formulated to provide specific benefits for particular cosmetic concerns. Options include:

  • JUVÉDERM® – The flagship JUVÉDERM® product is often ideal for wrinkles and fine lines in a number of facial areas.
  • JUVÉDERM® Ultra and Ultra Plus – These options may be recommended for patients who are primarily concerned about nasolabial folds (“smile lines”) and creases around the corners of the mouth. JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus can also be effective for lip enhancement or hollowness around the eyes.
  • JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® – For individuals suffering from volume loss in the mid-face and cheeks, JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® may be the appropriate solution. This product can also be utilized to smooth away fine lines and wrinkles.
  • JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® – This injectable filler may be advised for patients who are mainly interested in enhancing volume in the lips or diminishing signs of fine lines surrounding the mouth. JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® can ultimately give the lips a fuller look and a more defined contour, and is able to produce natural-looking results without appearing “overdone.”
  • JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE™ – Individuals who are experiencing facial wrinkles that are quite prominent and severe in nature may benefit from JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE™. This selection can be particularly good for “parentheses” lines running from the sides of the nose to the mouth.

One of the many benefits of JUVÉDERM® injectables is their propensity to create long-lasting results. Some JUVÉDERM® products typically last upwards of six months to a year, while others are known to last up to 18 months or longer. Plus, many patients are able to keep the effects going for extended periods of time by undergoing occasional “touch-up” treatments.

What Does Dermal Filler Treatment Involve?

Dermal filler treatments can be performed right here at Scottsdale Smile Center and usually only take about 30 minutes to complete. Our dentist will use a super-fine needle to delicately inject the dermal filler solution into the facial areas that have been targeted for rejuvenation. Most of our dermal fillers contain lidocaine, which is a local anesthetic that can minimize discomfort from the injections. A topical anesthetic may also be applied to the skin before injection, which can further enhance your comfort during the procedure.

Once the treatment is complete, most patients are able to resume work and other daily activities immediately. While some degree of redness, swelling, and bruising can be expected in the areas of injection, these effects should fade over the next few days and can often be easily concealed with makeup.

How Much Does Dermal Filler Treatment Cost?

The cost of treatment with injectable dermal fillers at our practice typically starts at approximately $600. Please note that the total price of these treatments can vary significantly among patients due to the customized nature of the procedure.
